Start software
Select phone model Z310
Connect phone to BOX CABLE to check what CID is inside, the info need to be:

CID in FLASH(dec):51
CID in FLASH (hex):33

Drag and drop “Z310 Unlock-Public.act” file to software window, this file Need to be first on the file list in DB2020 software.
Then need to add usually flash files MCU, DEC and CUS to files list
Press DO IT button
Power on phone after software finish and wait to make initialization

How to flash K510 CID 50 (the same procedure for W810 CID 50)

- Power on the phone
- Type >*<<*<* and go to service menu -> Service info -> Sim lock
and check it is all lock opened (maybe someone are try to unlock it with some other solution and the phone now have all locks closed)
- If all locks are closed , you can try to repair it using unlock procedure
- If that is ok connect phone to cable and press phone info to see what phone CID is
- If phone CID 50 select from
C:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT SonyEricsson\DB2020 inside\Repair files\Downgrade-K510.act

- This file must be first file added in software file list
- Now select MCU, DEC and CUS file
- In total you need to have 4 files added to software file list
- If there is no desired CUS file you can use All in one activation K510.fs its found in :
C:\Program Files\GriffinTeam\MT SonyEricsson\DB2020 inside\Flash files\K510 CID 50\R4EA031\CUS

- Press Do it button
- Wait to software finish
- To flash DB2012 phone use only BOX cable
- If your phone has same software version as files you want to flash, then is available to flash just

FREE Unlock 2610, 2310, 1112, 1110i and corresponding American models

Since other flashers started releasing patch solutions for unlocking DCT4 and BB5:
Under 'Lock SIM' button, we've added new button 'PatchSIM'.
Use it to unlock DCT4 phones, using the RSA protection.

How to:

1.Select MCU file to be the same as the file flashed to phone.

2.Press 'Patch SIM' – it will locate where to patch, and generate patch.

Then MT will flash the patch file. Send Unlock command. Flash original file, so phone is restored to normal.

Supported models: - all that we have tested on – 2610, 2310, 1112, 1110i and corresponding American models.

P.S. We don't like destroying good business by releasing free solutions, but since others decided to do it, we have to release it.
We've tried to make it as easy as possible to use.

MTB NK 1.28 SX4 Server emulation

Release notes:
Bugfixes:
BB5 RPL Write – added 20seconds delay between certificate write, and serial sending of simlock and SuperDongle data. NOTE – in order for simlock sending to

succeed, phone should power on in LocalMode. If it doesn't correct your cable.

In case that phone has some problem with powering on in LocalMode, connect phone, manually power it on in LocalMode, and then choose write RPL Again, MT will

detect that Phone has valid Imei, and offer choice to skip certificate sending and do the serial sending only.

New features:
BB5 ASKs created with MTBox can be computed through GTServer. For more information see the release notes of GTSAccess 1.34 .
Added SX4 Authorization for PMM write on BB5 phones. BB5 phones have protection for writing RF(1 ) and Energy(309, 0x135 in hex) settings in eeprom. NOT

HAVING THOSE SETTINGS IN PHONE, IS KNOWN AS 'CONTACT RETAILER PROBLEM', OR 'SECURITY ERROR' IN SELF TEST. In order to write those settings phone requires an

authorization that only SX4 smart card can perform. As those cards are hard to get, we've added server support for this authorization. To authorize, connect

BB5 phone, and power it on. Press SX4 button ( located in Eeprom control page). If you have SX4 card connected to PC, MT will use it to compute the

authorization password and send it to phone. If you don't have card, MT will connect to server to compute authorization password. In order to connect to

server, you must have 'saved' valid account information for GT Server, and the account must have at least 1 credit left. The computation is FREE, your

account will not be charged. Because the authorization procedure must complete in very short time, if you have bad internet connection, you may have to try a

few times, before it is successful. Onece you've authorized phone, you may write PM settings to phone. If phone is restarted, you need to authorize again.

To restore PM of phone, after eeprom is eerased:
1.Connect phone.
2.Make sure it has serial communication ( recommend to see it responds to phone info in local mode).
3.Load the PM file ( load file, in Eeprom controls page).
4.Mark Section( resource) 308 (0x134) and press Write Selected.
5.Restart phone. Either disconnect and reconnect phone to MT, or change mode to Test.
6.Press SX4 button, and wait for it to display that authorization was successful.
7.Press Write All button.

If no error are report, then you've successful restored the PM of the phone.



With the support for PM authorization we've ensured that our clients are able to actually service BB5 phones. Now you can make complete backup of IMEI and

EEProm, change flash and restore IMEI and Eeprom with no additional charge for you.
WARNING: many of you will try to downgrade phones, by erasing the Eeprom and then restoring after phone is flashed with lower version. There is significant

risk, that phone will not accept simlock data ( 308, in hex 0x134) from higher version. So you still risk to end with damaged phone. That is why we recommend

to avoid downgrading. If this happens you have two options: restore phone back to high version, and then write PM, or compute RPL and write RPL to phone. So

if you really need to downgrade some BB5, you may have to compute RPL for it!

For those who wish to make full erase of BB5 phones, we've created 4 files.

BB5Erase_8MBrap.bin – fully erase first 8MB of RAP3 flash.
BB5Erase_16MBrap.bin - fully erase first 16MB of RAP3 flash.
BB5Erase_EE_8MBrap.bin – erase only eeprom located at the end of 8th MB
BB5Erase_EE_16MBrap.bin – erase only eeprom located at the end of first 16th MB.


!!!! VERY IMPORTANT !!!!

ALL WE KNOW FOR PROBLEMS WHIT BAD QUALITY SERVICE CABLES.

ON THIS CASE IS CRITICAL PHONE TO BE IN LOCAL OR TEST MODE after RESTART from certificate write.


Problem is also 10 to 8 pin adapter cable connectors have very poor contact of GND and this come a big problem.

(we already start producing new type adapter cable)

Some times is need to push hard RG45 to adapter to be able to have any communication.

In effort to provide better service for BB5 phones, we've implemented Backup/Restore for Imei certificates of BB5 phones.

Added 4 button in 'IMEI/ESN Repair' page: Read Ask BB5 – use this to read ask for IMEI calculation for BB5 phone (gt format.... more info on this next year).

Write RPL BB5 – to write Nokia RPL file for BB5 phone ( IMEI, SIMLOCK and SUPERDONGLEDATA).

Read IMEI Backup – make a backup of the IMEI data of a BB5 phone (*.r3c files).

Write IMEI Backup – to restore a previously backed up IMEI (*.r3c) of BB5 phone.

In addition, there is option in 'Automatic Actions', so MT automatically makes IMEI backup of BB5 phones, while you flash them.... This means if you flash a phone... you will be able to fully support it in future.

Read ask and Write RPL are intended to be used to repair BB5 phones that for some reason destroyed IMEI or SIMLOCK data, or you needed to replace the flash IC.

ReadBackup/WriteBackup – if the phone is working and have correct data, you can make backup and then restore it without the need to compute RPL.

Important: In order to make this complete SuperDongle authorization must be implemented so you can also write RF and Energy data to phone. This is to be released somewhen in January.... We 've spend our time in an effort to release a version, hopping that it will bring you actual help and goods.

Bugfixed reading of large PM files - filed larger then 4K. Such as 134:01

New Features:
Added support for USB flashing of 'Single ASIC BB5' phones. Tested successfully on 3250, 6131/6133,6270, 6234. Known not to work on 6280( we think it is nokia bug).

How to flash over USB: In the top-right section of MTB_NK interface, next to PhoneMode combo, is a button saying USB. When this button is in down position, MTB will use the USB cable to communicate to phones (serial), and flash them.

MTB supports both DeadPhoneFlashing( USB_BOOT_ROM) and ADL flashing. If conversion to 128K page size is needed MTB will do it automatically.

Warning: if flashing fails, or you downgrade phone, it is very likely that you will not be able to repair phone with USB flashing. You will need to flash it over FBUS.

- Added Recognition whether VPP pin is connected correctly to phone. ( see note 1, for more information. )

Notes:
VPP pin recognition: You need to do a small modification on your 8to10 pin converter. See 'VPP_PIN_RECOGN.pdf' for details on the modification.
After that when using 8pin cables MTBox will be able to measure the voltage on VPP pin. So when you press 'Phone Info' and the phone is connected through the converter MTBox will measure and try to detect if VPP is connected to correct pin. If it's not, WARNING text will be displayed and VPP will be automatically disabled.
Vpp is also measured while flashing. To see current reading of VPP pin use ( boot information button ).

Notes:

(n1) For BB5 PageSize for content is retrieved in FBUS mode... so if flashing only content, make sure phone is powered ON before you press flash.

(n2) To automatically LogIn the torrent server, double click on one of the files listed in 'Online news update'. Box will open Web Browser and authorize automatically. No need to enter user name and pass.

(n3) Because products list is very long and it is hard to search, we've added Text search option. Type in the text that is contained in product description and press enter.
For example if you want to select product code '0522840 - QB EURO-K DARK BROWN RUSSIA' you can type 0500840 and press Enter. Or type 'russia' and press enter.

(n4) To be able to use auto power in LOCAL MODE BB5 phones BSI resistor must be changed. Change resistor from 3.3K to 5.1K.With old cables which have 3.3K phone will power in Normal mode.

Bugfixes:
Increased wait time for full factory set , so old WD2 phones succeed in After flash Procedures.
Fixed phone flashing for 3250.

NOTE:
- there is some problem with FlashLoadesr 6.05.003, so don't use those, use the ones provided with version 1.18 ( 5.51.007). for 3250 flashing, it is strongly recommened to use VPP ( will improve flashing time with 4 minutes and 30 secondes). Note that some of the cables on the marked could have VPP , so take care to correct it before you use it. See 3250 pinout for more details.

3250 has ContentFlash, but the content doesn't need to be extracted, so we have addeed another 'Automatic Action while flashing.' it is ¡°Skip CP Extract¡±. Check it when flashing 3250 in order to save time.

Whats new?

* VPP use for BB5 phones. This version will use VPP when flashing BB5 phones.
On 6270 this will improve flashing time with around 1 minute.
Note: since some of JAF/UFS... cables on the market has wrong VPP connection in the cable,
using VPP could cause fail in flashing operation. To protect clients this setup will disable
use of VPP (DisableVPP) by default, if you wish to use VPP, uncheck DisableVPP. If you experience
problems when flashing with VPP, then most probably your cable has wrong VPP.

* Online news checking. Download latest news for software updates, and new release from griffinteam.
Uses HTTP connection. News is shown in new tab in exe. You could disable the option if you don't like it.
Double click on news open the associated link.
Single click shows description of the news.
Automatic Check : Exe will check for news ever time it is started.

3. If you press ENTER while in EXE should search for the Nokia model entered in MODELS COMBO
Explanation: untill now to search for example for 1100 you had to:
click on model, type 1100 and press UP or DOWN arrow now you can press UP, DOWN or ENTER and exe will search for 1100 ( many users try to search by pressing ENTER)

4. Added fixed folder for AUTOSAVED RPLs from field 208.

5. Now if users manually browsed for files for some model, MTB_NK will remember the selected files, instead of Product code. Next time this model is selected, MTB_NK will automatically load either previous Product code, or Last FILES that were manually selected. NOTE: WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO FLASH PHONES BY SELECTING ProductCode. By doing this you will also select proper files for tunning the phone after flashing it.

6. Support for lattest FIA package ( 3.35), not compatible with previouse packages, so it should be used with 3.35 or later.

  Note: if FAID communication fails, you can uncheck the flash files, and press flash again ( with phone ON), MTB_Nk will execute only post flash serial communication (including FAID).
• DCT4: automatic select of content file for RH-59. Tip for reparing RH-59, that doesn't power. Do a full erase (01000000-01ffffff) , and then flash phone. If it was SW problem, this will repair it.
  Improvements: some improvements on serial communication, so now communication should be faster.
  
  

• Net Monitor activation, deactivation for DCT4 and TIKU phones. You need to flash phone in order to do that.
  NOTE: BEFORE USING THIS VERSION, PLEASE USE "MT Toool.exe" TO UPDATE YOUR BOX. Latest version of MT Tool.exe is published along with Mtb_nk version 1.11.
• Skip Erase: flash phone, but skip erase procedures. This is usefull for repairing phones with damaged flash chips.
• ResetUserCode button: in expanded view of application. Use this to reset user code to 12345. Note on some phones, this is not possible, use Full Factory Set on those models.
• Sim Lock State: button to allow you read the simlock state of connected phone. Application will ask phone and display detailed information of to what operator and with what options the phone is locked.
• Lock SIM: allows you to browse for SIM file, and use it to lock phone. This is the most correct way tolock a phone. Operators will use the same SIM files to lock phones. Note: if in the product folder there is no SIM file for the operator you want, use can modify othe SIM file. The format of the SIM files is simple and fairly easy to understand.
